Core Stabilization

Evidence

This program is based on the following research:

  • Saragiotto 2016 (Cochrane Review): Analyzed 29 clinical trials (2,431 participants) and confirmed that motor control exercises are effective for improving pain and function in chronic low back pain
  • Fleckenstein 2022: A meta-analysis showing that individualized exercise (particularly motor control) combined with behavioral therapy produces clinically meaningful pain reduction
  • Shahvarpour 2017: An 8-week stabilization program demonstrated significant improvements in both pain (effect size 2.31) and function (effect size 1.74)
