Your Checklist — Start Today

You don't need to do everything at once. Pick one or two items to start with:

  • Set a timer to stand and move every 30 minutes
  • Walk for 15 minutes each day — even on painful days
  • Review your sleep environment (temperature, light, pillow, mattress)
  • Keep a pain diary for one week
  • Schedule one social outing per week
  • Practice a breathing exercise for 5 minutes each day
  • When lifting, remember: bend your knees, keep it close, use your legs
