Where to Get Help

Red Flags in Any Provider

Regardless of the type of provider, be cautious if they:

  • Promise a cure — Chronic pain management is about improvement, not miracles
  • Discourage you from seeing other providers — Good providers welcome collaboration
  • Recommend indefinite treatment without clear improvement milestones
  • Order unnecessary imaging — Routine X-rays or MRIs without clinical indication add cost without benefit
  • Dismiss your concerns — You deserve to be heard and taken seriously
  • Claim to treat conditions outside their scope — Spinal adjustments don't treat infections, allergies, or organ diseases
  • Pressure you into expensive, long-term packages paid upfront
