Where to Get Help
Red Flags in Any Provider
Regardless of the type of provider, be cautious if they:
- Promise a cure — Chronic pain management is about improvement, not miracles
- Discourage you from seeing other providers — Good providers welcome collaboration
- Recommend indefinite treatment without clear improvement milestones
- Order unnecessary imaging — Routine X-rays or MRIs without clinical indication add cost without benefit
- Dismiss your concerns — You deserve to be heard and taken seriously
- Claim to treat conditions outside their scope — Spinal adjustments don't treat infections, allergies, or organ diseases
- Pressure you into expensive, long-term packages paid upfront
